Castle Combe

We went to Castle Combe after Bath (Attention cyclists: a remarkable climb behind Bath!).

Castle Combe is a place where time stands still: it still looks like the Middle Ages here (well, the streets are paved). And even the (few) shops are completely unobtrusive. Almost like a movie set (and in fact, parts of some movies were filmed here). The only thing that really disturbs the picture is the tourists. Hordes! Everyone comes by car (the town is located somewhere in the middle of nowhere) and floods the village.

After the very delicious 'Cream Tea', we soon continued...
