1. Stop Toronto

After a free ride from the airport to the city, arrival at the hostel in Toronto is around 7pm.

And who's the first person I meet? - - - Of course, someone from Germany. Where else?

Then I had a quick Filipino dinner and that was it for the first day.

Weather-wise, it could be better. Lots of rain on the first full day means more indoor activities. For example, the Eaton Centre, Ryerson Image Centre, Allen Lambert Gallery, or an afternoon at a board game café.
