Travel preparations are positive stress!

With the whole family across Canada. That means my wife and I, our children (1, 5, 8) - and also grandma! Firstly, Canada East from 22.6.2018 as a pleasant sea trip with Aida, then Canada West from 6.7.2018 to 8.8.2018 completely on our own with the rental car.

Going from New York to Montreal with Aida is still an easy thing, as everything was pre-arranged by the travel provider. The decisions can then be easily made on-site. City center or national park, beach or shopping mall? All of that will be handled very spontaneously by us. But those are only the first 14 days of the trip. The really great thing is that Yvonne and Stefan joined us with the children for the AIDA part!

On July 6th, we will then fly from Montreal to Vancouver. After that, we have 34 days to get to Calgary. Plenty of time to experience countless national parks, lakes, the Pacific, and western towns. The planning is currently completed - the preliminary route is set, the flights are booked and the huge rental car, a Grand Dodge Caravan, is rented (we always book hotels in North America only a maximum of one day in advance - it's usually a lot cheaper and secondly, you really have the freedom).

But the preparations are still in full swing! Constantly thinking for three children is not that easy. I will report back once we've started. Best regards, Marvin.
