Ostseebad Binz

The largest seaside resort on Rügen is located about 25 minutes away from Göhren in the east of the island. We reached it easily with the Rasender Roland. The small community offers visitors a promenade towards the pier with numerous shopping opportunities. In Binz, the well-heeled guests also like to vacation, which is why you can find more upscale shops and hotels. The architecture of the town is impressive and displays typical seaside buildings with white ornaments and decorations. Events and concerts frequently take place in the Kurpavilion in Binz. The extensive sandy beach also offers attractions for vacationers.

A highlight is the pier that extends far into the sea. From there you have a wonderful view of the seaside resort and its architecture.

On the way back to the train, we took a detour to Binzer See. There is a viewpoint on the shore and seating built from sequins. The adventure trail running along the lake has special charm with physical puzzles and gadgets to try out.
