Day 13 - Pico de Urbión Again

Morning: Laguna Negra (Hiking Parking Lot) * Evening: Soria (by the Rio Duero)

Because it was so beautiful, let's do it again. Right after breakfast, we go hiking again: passing by the Laguna Negra, climbing through the rocks in the steep gorge up to the Pico de Urbión.

This morning, the light is even more beautiful, even more intense. We savor the view and the breathtaking landscape for a second time. Everything seems more peaceful, more relaxed.

On the summit, we meet a small hiking group from Madrid. They treat us to a sweet 'summit wine' and we take pictures of each other by the small summit cross. The sun shines intensely like in summer and life feels carefree and relaxed.

After the hike, in the afternoon, we drive back to Soria. Here we find a beautiful spot: a parking lot by the Rio Duero. The hermitage Ermita de San Saturio is within direct sight. Perfect!

In the evening, we ride our bikes to the old town of Soria and enjoy the carefree evening life and the tapas bars. Spain is simply fantastic!
