Etappe 1 - Bad Wiessee

After going to bed early yesterday, I woke up relatively fit at half past seven this morning and had breakfast and checked out. Since my next hotel was in the same town, I could freely decide which way to go and had a free choice.

Shortly after nine o'clock, I started, first along a longer stretch of the lake. Sometimes directly along the shore, sometimes a bit off in the forest.

About three-quarters of an hour later, I reached the top and could look down towards Lake Tegernsee in one direction and admire the other mountains of the Alps on the other side.

Since it was already 1 pm and the clouds were slowly gathering, I started back, mostly taking the bus. Shortly after 3 pm, I arrived at the hotel and went to my room.

At the reception, I was informed that I could help myself to the cake buffet at that time, so I took a piece.

Since the hotel only offers breakfast, I will probably have dinner in a pizzeria later, which I have already found.

Tomorrow, at half past eight, I will take a taxi to the start of the second stage, where I will also meet my fellow runners for the first time.
