19 July Kristiansund

So, today I finally made my trip to Kristiansund. The green flags in one of the pictures show my stops from Trondheim to Kristiansund.

I have to say, Karin was right. It was beautiful. The journey by boat for almost four hours through the coastal archipelago was simply fantastic.

And then Kristiansund.

A small town on several small islands. Absolutely enchanting, like a miniature railway landscape.

I was also very lucky with the weather. On the way there, I could even sit outside, of course in the lee. Bright blue sky with lots of sunshine. The weather was still good to me in Kristiansund as well. It poured on the way back, but that didn't matter. I can completely understand why Karin is so in love with Kristiansund...
