Glendalough / Kilkenny (4.2.2017)

When you finally find out what a listening exercise from the 3rd grade of middle school was about. Back then we had a listening exercise about the place Glendalough, since I always preferred sleeping during listenings, the only thing I had noticed was the name of the area.

Afterwards, we drove through Hollywood and were able to see the Hollywood sign. The Hollywood in Ireland is the original Hollywood and the Irish emigrants simply took the name of their village with them and named their new home after it.

Our tour then continued to Kilkenny, unfortunately there wasn't enough time to visit the castle, or rather Lisa didn't want to.
