Sicamous 2 - Beach and Rest Day

Today is a rest day for us and we enjoy our breakfast while 2 machines are running laundry 😅

Around noon, we drive to the nearby Sicamous Beach and soak up the sun while reading, cooling off in Shuswap Lake.

Benny counts the number of cars on the passing trains - 144 containers and 5 locomotives 😅

We return with a few raindrops. It is already thundering in the mountains above. And we are once again surprised: Vreny and Ruedi have folded all our laundry to protect it from the rain 🥰🥰🥰 how sweet is that?!?

As a thank you, we look for something for the two at the Farmers Market (every Friday).

We fire up the gas grill for an early dinner and skip the planned sunset drive to the Sicamous Lookout a few hundred meters up instead. Instead, we play a game🙂

Tomorrow, we will take smaller roads away from the highway🤘
