Von Weseby nach Eckernförde

It was a relaxing night in the cozy garden cabin, and after a hot shower, my lovely host prepares a delicious breakfast on the terrace. I enjoy the morning with the dear lady and her husband, the latte macchiato is delicious. 

My vehicle is packed, I am heading to Flensburg. After a few minutes, I arrive at the Schlei. Here, a small ferry from Missunde takes you to the other bank in Kleinbrodersby. I cross the water in the company of two cyclists. 

The sun has an especially strong power today... they have predicted a storm for today. For this evening, I have made plans with the girlfriend of my dear friend from Munich near Flensburg. With Klaudia and her boyfriend Hartmut. I still have a few hours, so I drive to the center of Flensburg first. Dark clouds are approaching, it could actually start raining soon. I am looking forward to this cooling, as the sun is already uncomfortably burning on my skin. It is already starting to drizzle on the outskirts of town, and in a few minutes, the rain turns into a heavy downpour. The water flows down the steep street in small streams. I entered McDonald's into my navigation system again, my charging station and free Wi-Fi. It's only a few minutes away. But I have reached the point where I am completely soaked, and the water is running out of my shoes from the top. I drive into a small passage in the pedestrian zone. What luck! Now it's hailing cherry-sized ice pellets. Oh my God, it's so uncomfortable. After 10 minutes, I gather the courage to continue driving and quickly reach my destination as well. 

The rain has stopped again, and it's time to drive to Klaudia and her boyfriend. It's 6 km, a manageable distance. 

I am warmly welcomed. They cooked a delicious meal, how kind! The house and the property are a paradise! There is a private lake with clear clean water. I immediately fell in love with the three little dogs. 

Today, I am allowed to sleep in a camper van. It's the first time for me... it's so cozy😇
