Today our South Africa adventure begins.
In the morning we will pick up our machines at the rental station and head towards Gordons Bay on the national road. From there we will take the scenic coastal road to Bettys Bay to visit the resident penguin colony.
Our destination for the day is the old whale fishing town of Hermanus.
The town is known for its whale caller who points out the whales swimming in the bay during the season.
