On the last day of the hike, we were able to sleep in again. We started walking after breakfast around 8 o'clock. This time, the path was relatively easy. It was not as muddy as the way there, even though it was the same path. We reached the starting point in the village of Machete around noon. There was still lunch available. After that, we went back to the El Rio hostel.
