Start of the last three work weeks

3 weeks to go. I was kind of counting the days, but I was also feeling sad to leave soon. I worked only two days that week, because Laurie was taking care of Gerry on Tuesday, Wednesday was a Holyday and Molly took Gerry to Boston on Friday. My friend kind of forced me to go to the Mall on Wednesday because of 4th of July and parade and all that stuff, I went, even if I wasn't sure if I wanted to go. It was nice, the parade was kind of cool but the day was just too long for being so hot and humid.
3 weeks left. I was kind of counting the days, but I was also feeling a bit sad to leave soon. I only worked two days because Laurie took care of Gerry on Tuesday, Wednesday was a holiday, and Molly took Gerry to Boston on Friday. My friend kind of forced me to go into Washington DC to watch the parade and all that stuff. It was kind of cool, but it was just too long considering how hot and humid it was.

The weekend was going to have nice weather, so I planned to go hiking in Shenandoah National Park. I asked all the au pairs to come along because the more people, the cheaper it is. But most of the au pairs canceled last minute, which didn't matter much because the one girl who didn't cancel was really nice and we got along well. We hiked two beautiful trails leading to waterfalls, the South River Falls and the Dark Hollow Falls. The Dark Hollow Falls Trail was pretty short and crowded. The South River Falls Trail was perfect.

The weather was going to be great this weekend, so I planned to go hiking in Shenandoah National Park. I asked a few au pairs if they wanted to come along because the more people, the cheaper it is.
