Freedom Camping on the Whanganui River, Whanganui

We get up early to explore the weekly market with handmade arts and foods. We find some things and try out different food specialties. As this weekend is also the Vintage Weekend, we stroll through Victoria Avenue and admire the wide variety of vintage cars. After a few hours in the city center, we drive to Palmerston North to try Burgerfuel - an originally New Zealand burger chain. To postpone a little more time, we spend the rest of the afternoon in the park until we go to Burgerfuel for dinner in the evening. Then we head to an Irish pub where everyone gets a beer. In the second bar - a brewery - Arnd gets a beer and Eileen and Nicola get a cocktail for half the price - the cocktail can be enjoyed with a clear conscience.
