Cycling tour on the dike

And today the sheep's wake-up service was actually not on duty. So we got up later and started the day again with a delicious breakfast.

The sky still looked very good and friendly. We got back on our bikes and cycled away from the rain clouds between the mudflats and the sheep pastures. We almost managed to reach the WOGE RETOUR viewpoint dry. We had barely got off our bikes when the cloud decided it was time to cool off and get wet. It was pouring with rain. A small information booth offered some shelter for around 10 people under the roof. No shelter and no way to enter the small booth. But it stopped quickly and all I got was a sting from the thistle that was a bit in the way.

Then we went back past the farm shop sign and then into the village to buy cake. A little coffee break revived the mind and body so that we could go to the beach at Hooksiel again. No water, but lots of people and a few oyster catchers . It was beautiful regardless.

A delicious dinner was waiting for us and then an evening of games.
