At 10 o'clock our adventure driving on the left side of the road began.
After a short briefing, we rolled out from the yard towards the Great Ocean Road. Especially when turning, we have to concentrate very hard to drive on the correct side. But what is even worse for me is that our camper is a manual transmission. After over a year, having to use the clutch again leads to pretty noisy starts with a whining engine.
The B100, better known as the Great Ocean Road, leads through several small villages, sometimes along the coast, sometimes through a national park or the countryside.
We managed to travel 250 km from Melbourne via Geelong, Torquay, Anglesea, where we saw canary birds sitting in the trees, Lorne, passing various rivers and Apollo Bay, through the Otway National Park, Glenaire to Lavers Hill.
After spending the whole day in the car, we were looking forward to a hot shower. Unfortunately, we were out of luck... There was only cold water.

After our first, quite restful night in the camper, we continued another 70 km. We had breakfast at the 12 Apostles, then we went to the Gibson Steps. The waves at this beach were impressively large.
Our further journey took us to the Bay of Islands, which were one of the most beautiful places on the entire Great Ocean Road. Apart from that, we only visited a few viewpoints, where we were able to admire our first snake, among other things.
Then we headed back to a campsite in the middle of the Otway National Park.

After getting lost in the national park, but also seeing our first kangaroo (😍), we went straight back to Melbourne. We even managed to drive a bit towards Sydney.
Alone on the Great Ocean Road, we covered approximately 700 km. I'm curious to see what the odometer will show at the end of the 8 weeks. :D
More photos will follow, as always, with better internet...
