Driving through LA with a rental car.

We picked up our rental car exactly at 10am.

I had already reserved a Ford Mustang convertible in Germany, but unfortunately, they didn't have it. Instead, we're driving around with a BMW 430 convertible. It's okay...

Our first stop today was the pier in Malibu with its famous beach. We didn't see any Hasselhoff, though.

When we started getting hungry after lunch, we drove from Malibu along the Pacific coastline on the legendary Highway 1, all the way to Hollywood to have hot dogs at Pink's Hot Dog.

They claim it's the most famous hot dog stand in the world. Definitely the tastiest.

After refueling, we continued to the Greek Theater. Thanks to a tip, we parked for free and walked 15 minutes to the Griffith Observatory.

The sunset over the Hollywood Hills, the residence of the 'better' people, was amazing.

When night fell over LA, we naturally had a gigantic view from here, about 300m above the city.

Then we went back via Hollywood Blvd., Sunset Blvd. to Santa Monica.

We're exhausted but very satisfied. So good night and stay healthy.
