More beaches were on the agenda for us. After all, the island has a few and they are all so different.
So after breakfast we set off. First stop: Mae Haad. There is a small offshore island called Koh Mah. At low tide, a sandy road forms from the beach to the island, making it easy to reach on foot.
When we arrived it wasn't low tide but the sandy road was still visible. However, we decided against going over there and looked for a place under a tree on this beautiful large beach, relaxed and bathed for a while.
Our second stop took us to Haad Yao, which is described by many as the most beautiful beach on the island. Admittedly, the water here was really the most beautiful and the beach was really icing sugar. But the beach was relatively densely developed and had little of its natural beauty. Personally, I always don't like that.
Nevertheless, it was really nice and we took a bath and then ate a fruit bowl for lunch.
Afterwards we actually wanted to visit Hin Kong, but the tide was very low there and there was no water for swimming.
So we went straight to the night market in Thongsala. Something was going on there, I tell you. For a moment I thought I was back in Japan.
We had homemade garlic bread, which was really perfect. Strawberries from Chiangmai and finally mangosteen. I've wanted to try this Thai fruit for years and it finally worked. It just tastes great!
In between, Siar went to the hairdresser and was made pretty again. Looks great, I think.
Kian was starting to get tired and so we headed home. Kian actually wanted to drive himself (see photo)
By the way, we have extended our rental car for another day and want to explore more places tomorrow.
