It's going to LA with Hawaiian Airlines. The flight takes 5 hours with an A321 NEO. With the 2-hour time difference, it's already almost 10 p.m. Our motel looks like a prison.😄 But it's only for one night and the room is tidy. We're going to Venice Beach with the rental car and then to Santa Monica Pier. Here we have breakfast in wonderful sunshine and 20 degrees Celsius. After a detour to Malibu, we drive to Hollywood. We take the obligatory photo of the Hollywood sign above the city first. Then we go to the Walk of Fame and the Chinese Theater. There may be a lot of people here! Our hotel is only a 10-minute walk from here. We're calling it a day for today.

The next morning, we drive the Mullholland Drive with its viewpoints of LA and Universal City. We don't meet any celebrities.😉 We also drive through Beverly Hills and visit Rodeo Drive with its upscale shops, and then we head to Las Vegas.
