Tenerife

Next island today: Tenerife.

Our excursion “La Laguna and wine” started at 9 a.m.

The first destination was the city of La Laguna with its UNESCO-protected old town. Very idyllic and quiet, but today we walked into the middle of a carnival parade. But it was also worth seeing.

We bought a few little things in a beautiful market hall. Then we went to a bodega for a wine tasting. We also had a few tapas.

We tasted white, rose, red and dessert wine. All the wines were uncanny.

The white and rose wine were incredibly sour. Not dry but really sour.

The red wine was incredibly meaningless, also very dry.

And the dessert wine was incredibly sweet.

In summary, the wines were unfortunately incredibly bad🤷‍♂️.

We still had a lot of fun because Andi mixed the red wine with the dessert wine. That worked😁😅. It really tasted better with every sip.

We bought 5 glasses of the in-house Mojo because the Mojo was incredibly good...

Back on the ship it was time for a siesta. The island was almost covered in fog and it was raining. Very relaxing😴.

We ended the evening today in the gallery bar with a few cocktails and a few more Casanova shots.
