13.05.2018 What would my life be without a bit of chaos?

ئېلان قىلىندى: 13.05.2018

Early in the morning I set off for the Dingle Peninsula. True to the motto: New Day, New Place, New Beach!

So I started my morning at Inch Beach. When I arrived, I quickly noticed the special feature of the beach: you can drive on it! A vast beach that stretches for kilometers. Wow. I rested a bit, after all, it was still early in the morning. Then I continued along the coast to the small fishing town of Dingle. Explore the town a bit and have a small meal. The town has its own dolphin in the bay named Fungie - no joke. However, I didn't go searching for it as I have already seen dolphins, and it wasn't worth the parking costs. Damn German stinginess!

Now it was time for the spectacular journey along the Slea Head Drive. I can't say much about it, you just have to experience it. I enjoyed my journey until that moment when there was a loud crash in the middle of the narrow coastal road. I immediately realized that something was wrong and indeed: I had a flat tire. I "crawled" to the next small bay to avoid completely sabotaging traffic. Fortunately, at the same time, there were two Germans, a couple, also there. The young man immediately helped me because unfortunately, I have never changed a tire in my life. It wasn't as easy as it always seems because in my case, the tire was rusted, and it took 2 strong men's hands to finally get it done. I was so happy that everything was finally resolved "easily" and really grateful for the great help from others. Afterwards, I continued towards Gloghane and back to Dingle. There, I treated myself to a white choc mocca with coconut milk and a piece of carrot cake. VERY DELICIOUS.

The entire time since the tire change, a warning light was on - indicating that my tires were losing air. I had it checked twice at a gas station, but the tire pressure was always fine. Since then, I just ignore the sign. Let's hope it holds up until I return to Dublin!

So next, I took the Scenic Route Conor Pass. Again, just 3 words: wow wow wow... long wide landscapes, you can see the mountains for kilometers, and everything appears peaceful all the way.

Unfortunately, the weather kept getting worse and I also received a message that my mobile provider no longer provides me with internet. So I decided to drive to the next town of Tralee and buy a prepaid card there at Tesco (a large shopping center). Said and done. I now live with my Irish number and have 10 GB of data for the rest of the trip.

By now, I was annoyed with the day. So I decided to drive back to the accommodation and relax for the rest of the day. Patricia welcomed me warmly and told me about her day. She also told me that she had bought an adapter for me because currently I can't charge any of my things. Patricia insisted on giving it to me as a gift and handed me a bottle of water and a chocolate bar in the same breath. She is truly a wonderful hostess and I have already grown very fond of her after 2 days. Well, gin brings people together haha

Tomorrow, it's time to head slowly towards Dublin. My next stop is the city of Cork. I will explore the city for a day and continue on the following day.

Insight:

Everyone is so friendly, even the holidaymakers. You can just feel that everyone is happy.
