02.06.17: Return to Tokyo

Sunny, 28 degrees, hot

The last two days of the Japan adventure have begun. Two special highlights have come true: to see Mount Fuji in all its splendor and beauty up close and to experience the city of Tokyo in the glow of lights from the 634m high Skytree (the tallest tower in the world). Simply breathtaking. Our viewing point was at 350m height and the tower swayed a little. Both experiences are indescribable.

🍱 Changing trains at a station in Tokyo can easily take 10 minutes of walking. The train stations in Japan's major cities are so huge, they resemble an underground city with many shopping malls and dining options.
