Quadricycle on Toronto Island.

First day as fiancés!!! Hehehe.

Okay, let's get back to business. We are here to take you on our journey. We don't need to constantly talk about this beautiful ring that rests on Marie's finger... We are getting off track again. TODAY! Toronto Island is on the agenda. A small island (but with its own airport) in the harbor of Toronto.

We could take the ferry across - it was packed! But the view of the harbor and the skyline was fantastic. We were surprised by a little rain shower. But no big deal, we were incredibly lucky again and the rest of the day was beautiful!

Once arrived on the island, we planned to rent a bike to explore everything. But a simple bike was a bit boring for us. We went for a 2 person quadricycle instead. It was super funny. You drive at a whopping 7 km/h and pedestrians could walk past you.

In the end, it was kind of funny to explore the island like that. At least the western side. We wanted to explore the eastern side on foot. In the middle, we were on a pier with an endless view of the horizon.

On the way to the other side of the island, we chatted and chatted and enjoyed nature in between. A relaxed, calm end to Toronto. We admit, Toronto is not THE city. It is nice, but it's similar to New York in terms of layout. The highlights were the CN Tower (without the outdoor deck) and Toronto Island. However, everything is a bit more spread out. The hotel only scored points because of its location. So now off to bed, tomorrow we will get up early to see the Niagara Falls. HIGHLIGHT ALARM! We are very excited. The engaged couple greets from Germany!
