Day 11: New Plymouth- Taupo

Today's destination is Taupo. It's located in the Waikato district. Today is going to be a very boring day as I will be in a bus for about 9 hours. After about 3 hours, I reached Bulls. I will spend the next 2 1/2 hours here until I can board the bus to Taupo. Bulls is a small village with just over 1000 inhabitants. There isn't much to see here.

At 1:50 PM, my bus will arrive and I'll be on my way to Taupo. After a one-hour journey, we'll make a short stop at the Flat Hills. Then the journey continues. When I arrive in Taupo, I am once again overwhelmed. I'm sure I'll enjoy it here because Taupo is located on the lake of the same name. I quickly found my hotel, the Le Chalet Suisse. It's even better than I imagined. I even have my own kitchen. So, I'll cook myself some Fajitas in the evening. A cozy day.
