Shopping, eating, bus tour

Last week, I had to say goodbye to some volunteers who have since become good friends. Some of them only did the project for 2 weeks but stayed in Cape Town, so we were still able to spend time with them after work. It was an eventful third week for me.

The weekend started off the same as last Saturday - food market! We spent another sunny few hours in food paradise. Then we went to the shopping paradise at the V&A Waterfront. With over 450 shops, you can easily spend a whole afternoon there to spend your money...

On Sunday, I explored all of Cape Town with a fellow volunteer. We visited undiscovered spots in Cape Town on the red hop-on-hop-off bus, enjoyed the sun on the roof of the bus, and learned many interesting things.

And so another week came to an end. I can't believe that my last week has already begun and that I will be leaving my African Impact family, the children, and Cape Town in a few days...
