Pontrieux

The picturesque village of Pontrieux is located in the Cotes d'Armor region. The name means "bridge over the Trieux River". The river winds its way through the village. We first explore the narrow streets on foot and then take a guided boat tour. From the boat, you can see old laundry houses by the river, which are lovingly decorated. They used to be used for washing clothes, and each house has a fireplace that was used to heat the wash kettles. It was a very pleasant boat ride, and of course, Schnuffi was also on board. At the market, a butcher gave us a big bone for our little dog. The owner carried the heavy bone around all day. She couldn't wait for it to finally be unwrapped.
