Through Brittany

After the Gulf of Morbihan, we continue and pass by Carnac on our way. Here is the largest collection of menhirs, several thousand, some weighing tons, arranged in long rows.

The meaning is still not completely clear today, but it is likely to be burial and religious cult sites.

Then we cross the La Laita and see boats on the river and hiking trails along the bank. Since our Schnuffi needs to be active anyway, we don't hesitate and go for a nice hike.

Our overnight stay takes us to Kerglouanou, where we come to a small meadow after a narrow dirt road, where local anglers usually park their cars. Perfect, and a small picnic table completes the picture.

We walk along the overgrown coastal paths, enjoy a little refreshment in a bar. Great place.

After a peaceful night, we are briefly startled the next morning. Municipal construction workers have started to set up a height restriction. We would never have fit through there. The construction workers smirk as they let us pass. For the barrier, we would have been at least a meter too tall. We were definitely the last big camper here.
