Where will the thousand feet of the llama take us...?
First of all, Biggi's punctuality should prevent the thousand feet from staying in Germany, as we would have almost missed our train to Frankfurt without them. Actually, Paul and I were excited enough the day before, but then our packing action that lasted until two o'clock in the morning forced us into a deep sleep...
We were accompanied to the airport by Max, Pauline and Biggi in the early hours of the morning. We were able to answer the question of what we were looking forward to the most quite unanimously: Time. To get back into a flow without constantly looking at the clock, without feeling the pressure to work a lot to finance the trip or constantly ticking off items on a to-do list. To then make many exciting experiences, meet people and experience the culture... Enjoying life to the fullest!
The journey was supposed to take 26 hours: From Frankfurt, via Montreal and Lima, to Cusco. However, we were actually most looking forward to the airplane food, a shared secret passion that brought us even closer. We were not disappointed. In general, we felt like we must feel on our honeymoon: Very close and very happy to be able to start this journey, this adventure together!
