Once we arrived in Hanoi, we first explored the city and tried some street food. Later on, Matt and I took a few rounds around the lake and then back to the hotel. The traffic here was once again gigantic.
We had dinner in the city in a great rooftop barbecue restaurant with a view over the insane traffic and the lake. Later on, we celebrated Chloe's birthday in the Barstreet. The next day, I explored the city on my own. I walked through the Old Quarter, passed buildings with a French touch, visited a temple, had street food again, and on the way back, I also had a delicious dessert of banana in sticky rice with coconut sauce and peanuts. In the evening, I watched the famous Water Puppet Show. It was really amusing, but unfortunately, I didn't understand the language.
