Heavy storms in Bellemagny

Hello dear friends,

Today I went to Bellemagny.

The path was very beautiful, mostly through forests and with some ups and downs through the Vosges mountains.

In the evening, there was a strong storm with two warnings of storms and extreme thunderstorms on my phone.

I stayed overnight in an annex at the monastery with the Benedictine nuns. By the way, most of the sisters come from Madagascar and the boss is German. There was also dinner and breakfast. I was lucky again that an older Frenchman was also present who spoke very good German and is also a very lovely person :) We had great conversations and laughed a lot. But as it turned out, he is not a pilgrim. So the next day I continued my journey alone again.

By the way, a man and a woman from Madagascar and a Frenchwoman also stayed overnight in the monastery. The older Frenchman told me that the two women are here to see if they want to join the order and be admitted to the monastery.
