Tuscany-Cerasomma

We chose a pitch that had excellent ratings and were really looking forward to it.

When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised because it was much better than we expected.

Terraced layout, for a maximum of 20 motorhomes and with a pool.

The view is truly breathtaking over the hilly landscape of Tuscany.

At first, we only wanted to stay for two nights, but then we decided on a third night.

On the first day, we did absolutely nothing, just enjoyed the great weather and lounged around. Jelto got to read again and I could knit in peace. In the afternoon, we all went to the pool and cooled off.

On Sunday, Per let us sleep in, we didn't get up until quarter to seven. We quickly had breakfast and went straight on our bikes to Lucca, the way was longer than expected, about 12km one way. It was definitely worth it, because Lucca is a beautiful, small sleepy town. Probably because we were early again and the tourists were still asleep. We could leisurely ride our bikes through the narrow streets of the city center.

The campsite seemed to be a gathering place for families, whether on parental leave or just on vacation. On the last evening, we had dinner together with a family from Oldenburg and when all the children were asleep, we sat together and had a really great evening.
