Great Barrier Reef & Green Island

The last 2 days we spent at the Great Barrier Reef. Anna and Sandra went to Green Island while I was diving. We had to separate so that Anna would also be busy.

Diving here is different from what we are used to but it's okay. The service on board was great and the crew was very helpful. We went to the reef with a huge dive boat. After three dives with turtles and sharks, we headed back to Cairns.

Yesterday, Sandra and Anna took the ferry to Green Island. It's a beautifully lush island with rainforest and small reefs. Anna was able to explore the underwater world with the help of a glass-bottom boat. Of course, we also enjoyed strolling on the beach and swimming a bit... in the evening we continued on to Innisfail for the night.
