Quietly and comfortably enjoying...
This morning I had a mission and I could only do it in the city. I just say: it has something to do with a white and almost a tad too transparent dress.... Smile
Searched; found. Afterwards, I bought some local sweets at the bakery and went to Alexia and Eveline for a coffee. They were happy about my visit and the sweets. It was again very interesting and entertaining with the two cordial-lovely women.
On the way to the bus, I spontaneously booked a trip to 'Balos' for Saturday. Somehow I have to go to the sea and the most impressive beach of Crete I must not miss apparently. Because this day trip seems to be really worth. At least that's what my room mates say. Smile
Afterwards back to the hostel. Exciting: if you buy the ticket directly on the bus, it costs 2 euros. If you buy it at a counter, then only 1.10 Euro.
Since tomorrow will be a long day, the afternoon was very comfortable in the basement of the hostel's: cozy place, a frappe (cold coffee with ice cubes, sugar, milk), headphones on and enjoy my book. The hours flew by.
My regular tavern had to do without me today. I wanted to try something different and ended up in a restaurant with all kinds of food. Spaghetti is not exactly typical for the country, but as 'Black Pearl' it is: colored black by the ink of the squid and with mussels. Yammy.
I want to get up at 5:30 a.m. as quietly as possible, so pack and get ready clothes, ticket, money, food for the trip to Rethymno and for the ferry. I am already looking forward sooo much.
