After five months of traveling alone, something new has happened in the last 30 days of our journey. Ines is joining us for a while, then she will continue traveling on her own and meet us again at the end.

We picked her up at the airport in Bangkok on 3.6. The heat here is quite intense, with temperatures ranging from 37 to 39 degrees. It's Ines' first time in Asia and her first long-distance trip, so everything is very exciting. It's also nice for us because we become more attentive in experiencing things through her eyes.
We found a nice hotel in the Banglamphu neighborhood, near the river. This allows us to use the express boats, which take us to the Grand Palace quickly and at a low cost. The Grand Palace is a very impressive and beautiful complex.

We also plan to visit Wat Pho, which has a huge reclining Buddha and many sitting Buddha statues.
We will also explore the modern world of luxury and consumerism.
It's disturbing to see how poverty and luxury coexist in the city.
In the evenings, we will go to Chinatown for street food.
We will also have a few beers on Rambuttri Road, which is parallel to Khao San Road.
The three days in Bangkok will pass by quickly, and then our next stop will be Ayutthaya...
