01.05.2019 The Day of Reiwa

Ku kandziyisiwile: 01.05.2019

After a sleepless day, as many thoughts and impressions kept me awake, now the first update from me. I was awakened by a loudspeaker announcement, kindly informing anyone who hadn't heard it on the news that a new emperor and a new reign have begun. Then a quick breakfast and off to the Edo-Tokyo Museum, which really blew me away. There are many replicas of historical buildings, as well as real swords, No masks, and buildings from the 17th century. Of course, there was also the ongoing history of Tokyo to see, you could try your hand at prayer bells, and Hokusai paintings were a must. The pictures speak for themselves. Now it's off to Spa Laqua and then time to pack for Nikko.

Eine total coole Monarchie. Mit Reichsinsignien, die so heilig sind, dass selbst der Kaiser sie nicht anschauen darf. Völlig verrückt in westlichen Augen!
