Day 54 - Still Fleensee & raft building experiment

Ku kandziyisiwile: 25.05.2019

Hello everyone!

Today, we did what we planned yesterday: absolutely nothing :)

Originally, we wanted to go to Rostock, but we found out that there are only paid parking spaces there: right in the middle of a paved parking lot. It's much nicer here :)).

Tomorrow, we have an appointment to go diving with the seals at the "MSC Marine Science Center" research facility. That's why our next destination is Rostock :). We're really excited!!! We will definitely have something really exciting to tell you again tomorrow.

Earlier, we had the idea to build a raft and we were really motivated. But we didn't have any rope... However, the idea didn't leave us alone for an hour until we decided to give it a try. We turned the camper upside down and searched for all kinds of fastening materials. We found two tension straps, about four rubber bands, and about 2 meters of rope. Let's go searching for wood! We found a few thinner logs nearby and a little further away there were freshly felled tree trunks. We took three pieces with us - not exactly the proper way to do it, but when we set our minds to something.... Now you have to look at the pictures! We clearly didn't collect enough wood! But there again was the stubbornness... It had to be tried, even though the result was obvious :).

Off we go, jumping into our bikinis and onto the raft! All I can say is: the water here is really cold!

Quickly dismantled our makeshift attachments and into the warm camper!

But it was really fun!

So, today we're putting our feet up and tomorrow we'll continue with the next adventure :D.

So, see you tomorrow!
