Day 39 - Day 1/4 in Switzerland, much to do!

Hello dear ones!

As expected, today was a day of reunion and getting things done.

We slept a bit longer than planned - yesterday's drive took more out of us than we thought.... Then we went to our old business. It may seem a bit strange to most of you readers to go back to the ex-workplace on the first day back home... But those who really know us will understand completely :).

It was really nice to see all the familiar faces and the expressions of our former colleagues - priceless! Yes, it seems we succeeded in surprising them :). Everything in the store was still so familiar, everyone took the time for us and we chatted for quite a while in a cheerful round.

After lunch break, we slowly started to tackle the to-do list :)).

At around 4:30 p.m., we parked in Buchs and got a lot done - some of it was really a waste of time, but that's just us...

At 6 p.m., our paths separated: Each of us took care of our own side (friends, family & co).

For my part, I had dinner with mom, we had a delicious meal with a few glasses of wine. After that, I got to drive a REAL car again: Her Lotus Elise S2... Guys, since the exhaust replacement, this machine is even more fun than before! A go-kart with a really beautiful sound... Every time I get to drive it, I become more of a Lotus fan :). If you haven't experienced it yet: Definitely try it, otherwise you'll miss out! Alright, enough with the Lotus advertisement :)

At around 9:30 p.m., mom drove me to the camper, where I was waiting for Kevin :).

For his part, he was still on the go, he had a lot more on his to-do list than me... He arrived 'home' around 10 p.m. and now we're going to enjoy the rest of the evening :).
