Day 37 - Camping Magnanarelles

Ku kandziyisiwile: 08.05.2019

Hey guys :)

This morning the weather was not the best.... It was dry, but we saw lightning and heard thunder in the distance. So diving = canceled...

We had breakfast and then headed to the campground "Magnanarelles".

It should have been a 2 hours and 35 minutes drive, but as mentioned before, everything takes a little longer with the camper :).

First, we looked for a disposal station because our wastewater tank smelled.... Well.... Let's just say it smelled "special"....

After that was done, we were very relieved!! Because the smell kept coming up through the drains...

Then we really continued towards the campground. Since we didn't take toll roads, the navigation system took us on really interesting roads... Very narrow (it was fine since no vehicle was coming from the opposite direction) and with huge potholes... Along the way, we took a little detour to go shopping - we didn't have anything fresh to eat anymore (salad, potatoes, etc. - yes, we're slowly but surely eating really healthy :)) At least partially....) and we also wanted to bring a little "thank you" for Max from the campground.

Good five hours after leaving, we finally arrived at the campground. Max seemed to be happy about our arrival and our gifts. He immediately invited us in and offered us a coffee, tea, or schnapps :).

We first parked our camper, made ourselves comfortable for a short while, and then went back to Max and his invitation :).

However, we caught him at an inconvenient time: he and his family were having dinner. We postponed our meeting until tomorrow and we also started preparing our dinner :).

Tonight, we will end the day and tomorrow we will drive a bit closer to home.

See you tomorrow :)
