Caye Caulker - Belize

Ku kandziyisiwile: 22.03.2017

Our arrival on the island was incredible since we drove right onto it as the sun was going down.

The skyline was already worth it to go there and the Belizean people greeted us in their main transport vehicle: a golf cart.

So we let the 'taxi' bring us to the ATM, which I don't recommend since they will charge 10 dollars. It's more likely to just pay everywhere with a card.

Afterwards, he brought us to the hostel we booked.

Sadly, that was one of the worst nights of our lives, so we decided to change the place for our second/last night which was surprisingly cheaper and nicer. (25 dollars together).

The island is definitely worth a visit because it spreads its own charm, so you will feel at home right away.

We even rented two bikes and explored the island...we were done in an hour, so you get an idea of how small the island is.

We actually felt a little sad leaving Caye Caulker - and that after just two nights.

What keeps us happy is that we are on our way to Guatemala (Flores) now and new amazing places are expecting us.
