I'm leaving Lima!

Ku kandziyisiwile: 13.06.2017

Hey my friends, I don't even know where to start :-) First of all, I want to emphasize how beautiful Lima is for me, even after 10 days I am still impressed by this huge city (I will post some more pictures later, I even got a sunny day :-)) even after 10 days, the people were friendly, the food was outstanding, and there was not a single moment of uncertainty, whether I was walking alone through the streets, sitting in a taxi with 7 crazy people partying, or going out alone for dinner, there was no situation in which I felt unsafe (of course, there may be neighborhoods in Lima where it might be different, but you don't necessarily have to go there) On the contrary, it was actually quite relaxed, interesting, an experience to sleep in this loud city for 10 days, you even get used to the incredibly chaotic driving style of the Peruvians, I still believe that there are no traffic rules here, whoever honks first, goes first ;-) And speaking of crazy, on Thursday evening at the hostel, I was woken up by crazy Chaymi to go partying, what a story! Grew up in the same village, played football together, and then just made the night turn into day with Pisco Sour on the other side of the world :-) and as if that wasn't enough, we also had visitors from Neuwied in the evening, it's such a small world! :-) But it was about to get even better, because it is already Friday and Katrin and Szotty are coming today, ahhhhhhh my little sister, I'm so excited, I can't even describe what I felt when we suddenly sat together in our apartment in the evening! I quickly showed them the most beautiful places in the city on Saturday, the best restaurant, the parks, my hostel, the colorful market, the view from above at night over the whole city, the small street food vendors, and the tailor shop ;-) My sister managed to break her backpack already on the way here! All in all, I will remember Lima in a good way, it was an experience, above all a positive one! But eventually, it has to move on and tomorrow morning the bus will leave for the three of us heading south, into nature! :-) So enjoy the last impressions from Lima, next time I will write to you from the desert, the small fishing village on the coast, or an unreal oasis in the middle of nowhere, stay tuned......
