Cala Rajada with its small bays

The trip to Artà and our drive through the fields didn't do my first officer any good. Her eyes were inflamed due to hay fever. Despite sleeping early in the pleasant coolness, she needed eye drops. The ones from our on-board pharmacy had already expired.

On the way to the pharmacy we unexpectedly passed the weekly market. Typical displays, but beautiful, delicious specialties and it was already well attended. We shouldn't have come an hour later, because we would have been shown the red card for riding our bikes.

Heike used the drops straight away and they had an immediate effect. This meant we were able to take a trip around the bay.

From Platja de Cala Gat to la Font de la Cala we were able to drive right along the coast in some places, but in some stretches we were only able to drive in the second row. Beautiful, picturesque bays, largely taken over by the tourism industry. In many places the coexistence has been successful.
