07 to Oerlinghausen

Weather: Today had everything, from snow to wonderful sunshine. The wind was still blowing, but sometimes from the side or even from behind. I have become so accustomed to it that it doesn't bother me as much, especially when it's not uphill at the same time.

After the sunny afternoon yesterday in Winterberg, I was a bit surprised to see white roofs today. I didn't let it spoil my good mood because I knew when planning that I have to be prepared for any weather. I love such surprises and I am flexible. So I am equipped and dressed warmly, of course also against wetness.

I followed Komoot and soon found myself on a marshy and slippery cycle path. I almost slipped with the bike, but my over 3,000 km of experience saved me from a fall. Nevertheless, I took the next opportunity to get back on the main road with its nice surface. Later there were many kilometers on wonderful cycle paths and I enjoyed the beautiful ride. I only had to overcome 4 more hills and then I almost reached the destination in the flatland. Reaching the hotel in Oerlinghausen was another challenge as it is located far above the town. But here you have peace and a warm panoramic view.
