The Hermitage of Santa Llúcia (in Spanish Santa Lucía) is a chapel located on top of a mountain next to the coastal town of Alcossebre, in the municipality of Alcalà de Xivert (region of Baix Maestrat, province of Castellón, Valencian Community, Spain, Europe). Inside the chapel, there is a small but interesting Ethnological Interpretation Center with completely free entry that shows visitors various archaeological finds as well as pots and ceramics from several cultures that inhabited these lands. Additionally, through informative panels, it recounts the history and evolution of the municipality of Alcalà de Xivert; the ethnological interpretation center also features a kind of video-documentary projection where one can sit by the screen and spend a good while watching images depicting the history and evolution of the municipality narrated by experts from various places. The Hermitage of Santa Llúcia, being situated in a sort of natural viewpoint, is the ideal place to observe stunning views of Alcossebre and practically the entire municipality of Xivert, as well as a large part of the Costa Azahar in Castellón. To access the Hermitage of Santa Llúcia, one must go from the town of Alcossebre following a marked route.
