Stockholm - 06. August

Out of the wilderness, into the next big city - Stockholm!

We arrived at a small campsite about 15 km outside Stockholm. Good thing we quickly made an online reservation the day before, there was only one spot left. Since we arrived around 4.30 pm and the weather forecast didn't look so good, on the first day we just walked to the nearest town for some shopping, enjoyed a delicious meal, and of course, treated ourselves to a beer!

The next morning, right after breakfast, we headed to the nearest bus stop, only to realize on the bus that you can't get a ticket with cash, what kind of nonsense is that? Swedes in general don't use cash, everything is paid by card - no cash! After several failed attempts with the app (typical for us...), we walked two kilometers back to the nearest town and got ourselves an SL card, and finally had unlimited access for the whole day. And all that for only 13 euros per person, cheap!

Stockholm is currently more like a big construction site, but no less beautiful. Although compared to Copenhagen, it's huge!

Das hätte ich euch sagen können, mit dem Bus von Heinsberg nach Roermond muss man mit Karte bezahlen. Und Schweden ist dafür bekannt, viele haben einen Chip unter der Haut und zahlen damit.
