In the holidays, not on the run

After sitting on my butt in the motorhome yesterday, I'm taking it easy today. After all, I'm on vacation, not on the run.

After a photo walk on the beach, it's time for a first coffee: nothing beats a Bialetti! Then it's time for a little jog on the beach. Well, naturally, it's more of a straight line... I love these long deserted beaches, where two months ago the vacationers were crowded. Now it's the end of the season. Here and there, workers are cleaning up and preparing for winter. Soon, peace will return here.

After showering, I spontaneously decide to extend my stay at this lovingly maintained campsite by one day. And so, I can now simply enjoy a day of peaceful motorhome life: eating, reading, swimming, reading, dozing, eating... Swimming in the sea is simply great, I love plunging into the waves and feeling the power of the water.

And of course, plans are being made: tomorrow I'm going to Venice and on October 7th, I'm going to Istria. Maybe Porec or Rovinj? Let's see where there are still open campsites.

Now it's time for a delicious dinner, a glass of Dôle and a cozy evening of reading. Tom Clancy's 'Duty and Honor' needs to be finished.
