Eishockey

On Saturday, Sean, John, and I went to Prince George for the ice hockey game. And it was really cool.... we left at 12 and didn't get home until 0.30. First, we ate at a cool burger restaurant and then we went shopping. I would find it stupid at home, but here there are super cool stores. First, we went to a big horse and western shop (there were nice things), then to a tool store (huge and they had everything), then to a second-hand shop, and finally to a big hunting and outdoor store (I also thought that was really cool, everything they had there). It would be so nice if we had something like that in Germany too. The ice hockey game started at 7. But we had to be there at 5 because the company where Sean works sponsored the game and he had to prepare something. The ice hockey game got better towards the end because the players wanted to fight over every little thing and the 4 referees weren't enough to separate them ;) When the game was over, we went to have pizza with Sean's coworkers.

This week it has become summer. (It has already been above 0°C for 3 days now) And it really feels like summer.... you don't need gloves, a hat, and a jacket anymore... it's like if it was 0°C for you right now and next Monday it's 35°C... the difference is so extreme. It was raining continuously the day before yesterday. It's pretty funny to walk across the yard now because it has turned into a huge ice rink :) and everything else is underwater. But it's supposed to get colder again next week. We already have 70 lambs, in the last few days at least 5-7 sheep have given birth to their babies. But it's still not much more work because it's not so cold and the lambs don't freeze as quickly. I have never seen lambs during my 4 o'clock shift, but now I always go and check at 6 o'clock and there have been new lambs for the past 3 days :) and now I know exactly what to do with them. And I have already made chocolate ice cream twice :) and today I will definitely make it again because we always eat everything for dinner.
