E-bike tour through Lisbon with João

Although I did ride an eBike today, it had nothing to do with my actual tour.

Before that, I met up with Lea and Leon for lunch and to get to know each other. I got to know them both through this blog and so we wanted to meet in person today. Unfortunately, the fish restaurant was closed today and so we spontaneously had to make do with a hamburger 🍔 in the park. It was a nice and friendly encounter and I would be happy if it wasn't the last.
Both come from Mannheim, where I also passed through on my Nordic tour last year.

After that, I had to hurry so that I could still catch the tour that I had booked at short notice. Since I took the bus, it was fine.

Besides me, 3 other people booked this tour through Airbnb. Michael from the USA with the artfully styled moustache and a friendly couple from Holland.
The eBikes were very good, but it was a big change for me, especially in terms of weight. I also misjudged the width because I always included the panniers in my calculations.

João was a good group leader with a great knowledge of the city and the history of Portugal as a whole. I really enjoyed being a participant, even though I'm used to making my own decisions and finding my own way.

At the end we had a Portuguese liqueur, which tasted very good. I can recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a more than just touristy overview of Lisbon.

Even today I also mounted an electric bike, nothing I see with my real racing track.

Before this, I met Lea and Leon to feed and meet us. I met everyone through this blog and now we want to meet in person. Unfortunately the fish restaurant is closed today and we suddenly think that we are having a hamburger 🍔 in the park. It was a sweet and welcoming meeting and I would be happy if the last one were not there. Ambos comes from Mannheim, where I also passed on my way to Nordland the last year.

Then I pulled out the handle to be able to get to the tower which I had reserved with a little antebellum. From then on I got on the bus, it was fine.

In addition to me, 3 other people booked this tour through Airbnb. By the way, Markus, from EE. UU., with a huge, artistically haired woman, and a cute Dutch couple. The eBikes are very good, but I suspect a big change. This is especially the case in weight terms. But I also calculated poorly because I always feel uncomfortable in the alforjas.

João was a good group leader with a great knowledge of the city and the history of all Portugal. I was really happy as a participant, although I was usually forced to make my own decisions and find my own path.

Finally I drank a Portuguese liquor which tasted very good. I can recommend this route to anyone who wants to get a general view of Lisbon while visiting Lisbon.
