Rhino Trekking

On foot, we set off with a guide to search for rhinos. We are very excited because we have rarely seen rhinos before - and when we did, we were always far away and in a car. Tracks are read and a lot is explained to us. When we spot the first ones, we can hardly believe it: they are soooo huge!! The guide keeps telling us how to behave and when the bull approaches us, we have to move slowly (no running, as it is too dangerous) in the opposite direction. With the next ones we see, we can even get closer: sometimes we are only 10 meters away from them. Unbelievable!!

Afterwards, we drive back and discover a few baboons.

This is definitely one of the most exciting experiences we have had in Namibia so far!
