Lake District

Hello sweeties,

Always keep one thing in mind: the world is huge and your life is unpredictable. It is not possible to calculate or plan everything. But if your heart tells you that you have found a place where you belong, you should listen to it and stay a little longer. That's how I felt about the Lake District in northern England. This park consists of small roads and villages surrounded by green mountains and countless lakes and rivers. In Ambleside, one of these villages, I got completely lost. We stayed here for a week, the longest time I have ever spent in one place, and I have rarely carried so much joy and love in my heart or cried with happiness almost every day. I belong here to some extent and when I say that I will come back to many places, I truly mean it here.

Now for something funny: I tried to meet a friend I met in Cambodia here. The end of the story was that I ended up at a house party with his parents, without him, and slept alone in his room. You could call me absolutely clueless when it comes to men. Haha. That was probably the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me in my life.
