Off to the final stage!

My goodness, time is flying ... finally in Bangkok! Thailand is on its way to becoming a developed country at the fastest pace among all the countries in this region. The architecture looks completely different once again, but as always, everything is gilded and the towers rise like white mountains into the sky. Wat Arun is the most famous temple and definitely worth seeing. You can take a boat from Wat Pho across the river for only 4 baht. That's the quickest way to get there. If you absolutely need sex tourism, you can visit the Patpong Night Market. But for me, that was nothing at all. It somehow just triggers pure disgust in me, but to each their own. On the other hand, Khaosan Road is colorful and great for going out for a drink in the evening. By chance, I found a rock band playing cover songs there and turned into a heavy metal dancing bear with a handful of other people. Wow, that was fun. But the guy also had a damn good voice ... oh well.

Another great thing to do in Bangkok is the Golden Mount, where you can enjoy a great view of the city. Oh, and here you can find these adorable little sugar squirrels, which may look a bit different from the ones at home, but are just as fluffy and even eat out of your hand.
